cut off the legsWe use nearly a whole pair of jeans to make a pair of sandals (except the bum part!) |

steamed and pressedTo ensure we get rid of any nasty bugs we steam the jeans and flatten them ready to cut |

knives placed to cutOur knives cut out the patterns much like a pastry cutter would. |

remove pattern ready to sewThe front and back of one leg is used to make a sandal to stop it flopping about and to give it shape. |

sew on the labelsThe labels and buckles are sewn on and the upper begins to take shape ready for the final stage of moulding. |

placed onto moulding machineThe uppers are mounted onto the moulding machine to have their soles put on. This is a large carousel which takes approximatley 10 minutes to do a full cycle. Once this cycle has completed the sandals are taken off the machine, boxed and sent straight to you for you to enjoy! |
